Dawn has been with Contact Publications for 35 Years and at present an account executive. Dawn has been on the SAACI KwaZulu Natal committee since its inception and has served as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer which position she holds at present. She is the recepient of the first Godfrey King long service awards and a the 4th honourary lifetime member of SAACI

Carol Macnab
Carol has been in the conferencing industry since 1985 when she joined Southern Sun Sales. Since then she held the position of International Marketing & Sales Manager of the ICC Durban and is currently working at The Gateway Hotel in Marketing. Carol has chaired the KZN Branch and since 2008 has been the KZN Branch Co-ordinator.

James Seymour, Chief Executive Officer of Durban KwaZulu-Natal Convention Bureau.
James was Tourism KwaZulu-Natal's General Manager for Tourism Information Services. As a result of the activities of this division that Tourism KwaZulu-Natal received the 2007 United Nations World Tourism Ulysses Award for Innovation in Tourism Governance in the realm of Knowledge Management. This was a first for Africa! He formally headed up the Information and Research Department of South African Tourism. Prior to that he was a Research Manager with the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC), where he was in charge of the Consumer and Qualitative Research Unit or MARKDATA, which was the then marketing research agency of that organization. James is currently studying towards a PhD in Tourism Management.

Kim Gibbens, Owner and Director of Aqua MICE
Established herself as a local captain of the Business, Sports and Leisure Tourism transport/logistics industry, in South Africa. Kim also had the privilege of working at the Yas Marine Island Grand Prix in 2011, 2012 and 2013 in Abu Dhabi where she was appointed as the VIP association transport specialist. From the initial presentation and proposal submission right through to the ‘round the clock’ management of events.

Scott Langley
Scott is the Sales and Marketing Manager of the Durban International Convention Centre. He has been in the industry since 1998 and holds a B-Com Degree in Tourism Management from the University of Pretoria. He has been privileged to live and work in various provinces around the country including Gauteng, the Eastern Cape, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Before joining the Durban ICC, he was General Manager of a boutique hotel in Cape Town and has held several other marketing management positions in the hospitality industry.
