Conference & Events Chapter

The SAACI Conference and Events Chapter (C&E Chapter) is a special interest group within the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI). This chapter represents organisations and individuals in the conference, meetings and events industry who specialise in conference and event management. The chapter sets minimum professional standards and otherwise contributes to the credibility, awareness and regulation of the professional.

By establishing an accreditation process, a code of conduct, and an arbitration body, the Conference & Events Chapter has effectively raised the professional standards, ethics and accountability of member organisations.

Prospective clients benefit by knowing that they are contracting with individuals and companies who have demonstrated the skills, expertise, ethical integrity and professionalism required to successfully meet the needs of the client.

What is a PCO?

A PCO is a Professional Conference Organiser.

SAACI Accreditation

SAACI has three graduated levels for accredited conference organisers:

• SACO: SAACI Accredited Conference Organiser
• SAPCO: SAACI Accredited Professional Conference Organiser
• SAIPCO: SAACI Accredited International Professional Conference Organiser.
